    ITW Mesa DC Kite

Make the most of the wind you have.
    Product Description

    ITW Mesa DC Kite
Having a kite store in a place with some of the most beautiful skies and worst winds on the planet, we’ve done lots of kite testing. In light, variable winds, nothing flies better than a Delta Conyne Kite. We made some ourselves in the early 80’s. Now Christoph is making these bulletproof fliers look as good as they fly. Made of lightweight 40-denier ripstop nylon with fiberglass spars, they’re well detailed and built to last. 5’-11” x 2’-6”. 36” case. 6 to 25 mph winds. 4 tail attachment points. Use 75-lb. Dacron kite line.

Out of nearly 30 kites in our repertoire

What is your opinion of this product?
Out of nearly 30 kites in our repertoire, this is the only one that could handle the uneven, gusty, offshore breezes we had in Destin, Fl. While we sweated with everything else, this kite popped up like a champ, and flew steady until we unstaked it. A great kite to add to any collection.

    This is one incredible kite
What is your opinion of this product?
This is one incredible kite. It pretty much leaps out of your hands into the sky. This DC has a surprising amount of pull for its size. I'm definitely impressed with this kite.

This kite flies well in lighter winds
What is your opinion of this product?
Of my many kites, this is one of the easiest to get flying and does fly rather well overall. I'v had the misfortune of landing it in 50' tree and was able to literally pull it through the tree with no damage. The spars on the leading edge of the wings have to be slid down the seam about 3" into a stitched "pocket" and fit in such a way as they are able to release themselves in flight in gusty winds. This seems to unbalance the kite, causing it to spin eratically.
