    ITW George Peters Pterosaur Kite

The Earth’s first flying creature returns
    Product Description

    ITW George Peters Pterosaur Kite
In the sky, George Peters’ dinosaur really comes to life with a slow soaring flight and a glancing eye as if searching the ground for dinner. In light winds, the Pterosaur’s gliding flight is surprisingly maneuverable and fun to play with. Slacken the line to let it glide close to the ground then pull on the line to make it climb. This large and unusual kite is a real eye grabber. 15’-4” x 8’-0” with a 9-ft. tail. 49” case. 5 to 20 mph winds. Use 150-lb. line.

I own this kite.. its awesome looking to fly.. it has a slight stability problem to fly high llke over 400'. while flying keep an alert eye on kite if the wind dies some and if the kite turns ands starts flying sideways reign in some immediately cause it will dive and theres NO recovery from a dive . if i fly this kite over 400' i use a 7' spinning wind sock in place of 9' tail for stability... i fly kites up to 1800' , the big ones.. if you go to youtube channel .. tvabiker.. youll see. i have bought several kites from intothewind.. they are great folks and use their advice on flying and size line to use..
    Review this item:
since I bought this kite last year ive made a major modification of this kite.. on my 1st review I was using a large spinning wind sock for balance and stability but it took away the whole kite look.. so .. to use the short 9ft tail that came with kite I am using about 6ft of 12-2 house electrical wire inside the tail and have it insolated with wrapped tape to protect tail on the inside ..and have the wire hooked outside at top of tail to hold in place and taped with duct tape works great for balance and stability to fly kite over 400ft up to 700..the house electrical wire keeps the tipping point of kite back on tail side.. this kite is always a hit anywhere you fly it..
