Product Rating What is your opinion of this product? Great kite--not worth the price. First I would like to say that I like this kite very much and that it is very well made. I like the colors although against the blue sky it doesn't stand out as much as other kites. It is very lightweight and it does fly well in lower winds, but I have yet to see it keep the super high angle of flight in other than medium to high winds. My biggest problem is the price. I don't mind spending the $145, but quite honestly I don't feel like I got my money's worth. Even though it has an 8 foot wingspan, the kite seems small in comparison to other ITW Delta's, and the flight characteristics really aren't that different than other kites. Perhaps you are paying for the Dan Leigh name, but no one will be able to convince me that this kite is worth 2-1/2 times the price ITW's 8.5 foot delta.
    Well worth the money

What is your opinion of this product? This is my low wind kite of choice. I also fly the ITW Levitation light and Alpine DC in light winds but the Whirlwind is the most stable and gets the best altitudes in light winds. It would get 5 stars if it was available in bright red or orange colors. The blue colors makes it almost invisible when more than 1500ft of line is out.
