Product Rating What is your opinion of this product? I bought this kite for my daughter last year. Now, she is 5 1/2 years old. When we fly it together it goes up very high into the sky very fast. We take turns holding the line and the kite just sails and sails up in the sky. It is beautiful to watch and we have a lot of fun together. The neighborhood kids like to take turns holding the line too.
UPDATE: Now that I have had this kite a while

What is your opinion of this product? This is a really good flyer but has a little trouble catching the wind. What is your opinion of this product? This is great!!! I love knowing that on days with only light breezes, I can still get something up in the air...and it's nice looking, too. It truly is a must have; especially if you like to fly often.

What is your opinion of this product? This is my most favorite kite. If you like kites, you should get it. It's very stable in both of breeze and a little bit gusty wind. I trust it, so I made a easy KAP system with a small USB cam, and enjoy KAP. This is a simple but a potential kite.

What is your opinion of this product? This kite flies quite well, looks very bright in the sky and is probably a good choice for a child as a trouble-free first kite. But I was disappointed with the quality, which does not seem to be up to the usual ITW standard. \ \ The stitching and reinforcing are not great, and the two cut-outs appear to have been hacked out with scissors and are already slightly frayed at the edges - a great contrast to the two holes in the sail of ITW's beautiful Triton, which are cut accurately and hemmed. \ \ Compared to, for instance, the Cross Diamond - a less expensive kite but extremely well made - the Boulder Sled looks cheap and nasty, and is the only ITW kite I have felt this way about. \ \ It does, of course, come in the usual great ITW case, which will undoubtedly far outlast the kite, and the line provided is good quality too.

What is your opinion of this product? UPDATE: Now that I have had this kite a while, I can add to my previous comments. Despite my initial misgivings over the quality of build, the Boulder Sled seems to stand up well to hard use. In strong, gusty winds it is great fun, often folding itself up and diving towards the ground, only to open up again and recover just in time to avoid a crash. I think a stronger line is advisable in such conditions - I use 75lb just to be safe.
