Product Rating What is your opinion of this product? This kite is perfect when you have the lightest of breezes and flutters prettily when the gusts pick up strength. With the sun behind it it glows. The line it comes with is pretty short; good for smaller kids, but if you want to see how high it can climb, you might want to purchase a longer line.

What is your opinion of this product? This kite looks very bright and pretty in a sunny sky. I'm not sure I would classify this kite as good for a beginner though. When I was flying this kite in light/moderate winds, anytime there was a bit of a gust, the kite would dive hard like it was really ground-hungry. It wouldn't recover from the dives on its own either. It pretty much just headed straight down. I was constantly having to let out line to make it recover from dives. This type of behavior would probably be alarming for a child or beginner and would result in the kite just going down somewhere. \ \ After awhile, I brought it down and switched to the Hata because this kite proved to be a constant challenge to keep upright. My bridle is adjusted the way it came from the factory with the two pink dots on the bridle aligned. Perhaps I just need to adjust my bridle loop up just a bit and it would be smoother.

What is your opinion of this product? A beautiful and inexpensive, entry level kite. I'm a beginner myself, and this kite shot up to the sky in a jiffy, in a gentle breeze (less than 10 mph). It WANTS to fly. It raced up to the sky just like that. My one negative comment is that the spars fit into little fabric pockets that can easily separate from the polyester kite. After 30 minutes of flying, I had to retire this one - but I do have another. I'll try to be gentler with the next one, and hopefully it will last longer.
