Product Rating What is your opinion of this product? This comes without a scrap of assembly instructions. All the spars are wooden. BE SURE to seat the cross dowels all the way in the plastic dihedrals. If you do not, you will snap the center spine on first assembly. (3/8 x 43-1/2" dowel) It comes with a over-the-top heavy duty case. If they would send it with a simple rip-stop sleeve for a case and spend the money on a fiberglass tube center spine it would be an improvement. After I rebuild it I sure hope it actually flies.

What is your opinion of this product? I didn't think there were any instructions either, but when I took the kite out of the case the second time, I realized there's a pocket inside the case and the assembly instructions were in the pocket. \ \ I haven't had a chance to fly the kite yet, so I can't comment on that.

What is your opinion of this product? This is more of a pre-review, since my comments relate to a previous Vertical Visuals Roller I bought from ITW, which came with aluminum dihedrals. It is by far one of my favorite kites to fly. It works well in tricky winds, can be adjusted for sail tension, and does indeed climb like a rocket. I've just ordered another, and will report any differences in quality or flight characteristics once I fly it.
I flew my roller today for the first time

What is your opinion of this product? I flew my roller today for the first time. The wind was probably at the upper end of its rating. (Flags were flying fully extended.) I leaned the kite against a picnic table and let out about 150' of line. One pull, and it was up. Even with very strong wind, it flew at a very high angle and was very stable. It also left very little sag in the line. \ \ To assemble the kite, put the longer set of sticks on the upper sail and the shorter on the bottom. Tie the plastic dihedrals to the central stick with the loops. You probably should mark your sticks with a Sharpie, so you won't mix them up on the flying field. \ \ I'm looking forward to flying this kite on the type of gentle winds it is designed for.

What is your opinion of this product? Brilliant kite and with the Vertical Visuals /Alick Pearson pedigree you wouldn't expect to be disappointed \ And I wasn't \ What a great kite , flys right out of your hand and is pretty stable \ But the best part is how vertically it flys seems to go right up. \ Also great value for the price beautifully made

What is your opinion of this product? This is a brilliant kite, and great fun to fly. It's easy to assemble and flies in a wide wind range. It's also very good value, and should be in every keen kite-flier's collection. I'd looked at it on the website many times and not taken the plunge to buy one, but now that I have it, I wish that I'd acquired it earlier. Highly recommended!
