Product Rating What is your opinion of this product? Had it out twice in February! Likes a lot of wind, but can be flown walking backward. Line broke the second time out, but this kite is a blast.
Flew it today for the first time in 11-15mph wind

What is your opinion of this product? Flew it today for the first time in 11-15mph wind. Seems touchy for a beginner kite but then I only had one other stunt kite experience twenty years ago, with a Flexi-Foil Hot Shot (or maybe it was a Stacker?), which was a more advanced kite; That one seemed less touchy. Also seemed to require more wind than that one. And I could usually self-launch that one, while this one requires two people. Perhaps it was that one's leading spar vs this one's soft cell design. \ \ Anyway, my kids (ages 6 and 8) LOVED it, and I was grateful to God to be able to afford it (great price!) especially with everything attached, ready to go. All I had to do was unpack and fly. \ \ A little nit-picky thing: After the 45 minute flight, I had to take a lighter to seal up some frayed spots on the straps. Not a big deal, but it was a surprise to have to do that for something out of the box. \ \ Despite the fact that it seemed touchier than a more advanced kite, and required slightly more wind, and required two people, I would recommend it to even beginners with those caveats. My hyper-active attention deficit six year old got it aloft and held it up there for about 30 seconds, and this after only fifteen minutes of practice. \ \ So if you're a beginner, go for it. Just know what to expect. After a few hours you'll be a pro; My eight-year-old was even making turns after about 45 minutes. Good times.

What is your opinion of this product? Had this sucker out today in 20 to 30 mph wind. We had 4 kites out there and his one was clearly the most fun. The strings are longer yet the response is fantastic. The hotdog also has a large window for flying. Loved it. For 35 bucks this is it!
