    Product Description

    ITW Sweet 16 Delta Kite
Sweet 16, our single line power kite. Big enough to knock your socks off, our 16-ft. Delta is designed and built to be better. Seemingly weightless in light winds, quite a trick for a 3.5-lb. kite, it has the strength to lift a ton of line laundry. Built to handle strong winds, "it pulls like a horse in more than 15 mph," says Christoph. Be prepared and have a way to tie it down. Made with lightweight, durable Dutch fiberglass spars and ripstop nylon, it's reinforced extensively. Three tail attachment points. 16'-0" x 8'-0". 51" case. This product has a shipping length greater than 42" and can not be shipped to most international addresses. Wind range: 3 to 18 mph. Use 300-lb. Dacron line.

What is your opinion of this product?
The power this thing puts out is just plain cool! I am into amateur radio and bought this kite to lift 200 ft of wire and feed line skyward. First flight: fell off to the left/did not fly at 3 mph. Second flight: Airport wind a few miles away was 13ktG19. I am a fairly active 170 lb guy. I was fatigued by the time I pulled down 500 ft of line using carabiners. I will not be going any bigger on kite size in those winds without a winch or capstan and probably will not fly this one again without one unless the winds will be staying below maybe 10 mph. The 200 lb line used was singing which indicates the it was a touch over stressed. I will be upgrading to either the recommended 300 lb or 500 lb line to cover this kite and other heavy pullers. One last random thought: not saying this happened, but should one be chasing this kite across a vast open field and get the urge to grab the semi-slack line ahead of the reel-don't, the kite may re-power up causing ones gloves to get burn level hot.

What is your opinion of this product?
Great steady flyer with plenty of pull and lifting capacity. Easy to launch with moderate steady wind as low as 3 mph.

What is your opinion of this product?
a steady and easy to fly kite however I must say... you must keep a carbine r with the kite or risk loosing your kite or cutting your fingers. I say buy it and have fun
