Product Description

ITW 9-ft. Levitation Delta Light Kite
Light wind flying gets easier. Combining 26 years of kite testing with Christoph Fokken is what it took to build our Levitation Deltas. Made of lightweight 40-denier ripstop nylon, they have oversized keels and trailing edge flaps for stability. The more you spend, the lighter your kite can be. The light, stiff carbon frame allows the Delta Light to fly in less wind. 30" case. 9'-0" x 4'-7" with three tail attachment points. Wind range: 3 to 18 mph. Use 50 to 75-lb Dacron line.

Fly Like an Eagle !!!
Product Rating
What is your opinion of this product?
I have had this kite up to 3,000 feet on many, many flights. It always amazes those passersby who watch it in the air, then see how large it is in person once it is back on the ground. A 9 foot kite is quite a kite indeed ! I like to use a 96 foot yellow and black transition tail on mine, it looks spectacular up high and is visible for a very long distance. This kite is also a fast climber and will really get up high in the sky in no time. Flies great in low wind, and flies great in moderate wind too (up to 18 mph or so). When flying in western Colorado I had a curious golden eagle fly up close to it and glide nearby for a while ....... it felt like I was flying with the eagle, how cool !! ..... Once in a Lifetime experience !! this is the best kite I have ever had !!!! ...... Twelve Stars !!!

My "test the wind" kite
What is your opinion of this product?
First kite I put up to test the wind. After you assemble the first time, leave the rods in the wing edges. A little long for the bag, but setting up is much easier with just the spreader.

I live in a city where the winds vary from light to non-existent
What is your opinion of this product?
I live in a city where the winds vary from light to non-existent. Our best winds are in the late afternoon and early evening as the sun starts to go down. I fly kites with a group of gentlemen whose kites are made of split bamboo and dry cleaning bags. They fly their kites with the Aramid fiber used to make radial tires, very light and very strong. I could never get my White Bird 6-1/2 ft. Delta to fly on light air days, simply not enough wind. Nothing flying for me today and I would head home disappointed. \ \ Well let me tell you the ITW 9-ft. Levitation Delta Light has changed all that. She is all the kite ITW claims she is. Now on light air days, I am the first in the sky with the Delta Light and the others seeing that I am up, begin to come to the park to fly their kites. The kite is rock steady in the sky and flies almost directly overhead even in the light airs. If your area suffers from light winds like mine, do yourself a favor and get one of these beauties. \ \ Lao Wang, Chengdu, Sichuan, PRC \
