First off love the kite. Fly's great super stable. Flies in lights winds around 5 MPH. The kite looks fantastic in the sky. I put a tube tail on it. It tracks so well in the sky . If your new to kites, the spars that go down each wing are inside the kite. When you assemble these spars they need to be pushed down to the very bottom tip of each side of the kite . Its in the directions. If you do this the kite fly fantastic. I also had this hauling 6 meter Soft swirl laundry in moderate winds around 10mph.

I did have one issue. The middle spar that you have to insert into the middle of the kite from nose to butt was too long. I had to trim a 1/4inch off it in order for it to seat properly. Really no big deal. Took a second. Customer services walked me through it. I would have given this kite 5 stars if it was ready to go out of the box. Amazing kite. Thanks to Into the wind customer service.

Happy with this purchase

When told to pick out a delta kite as a Mothers Day gift, my wife chose this kite in the ''Circles & Spears'' pattern. When it arrived, we couldn't wait for Mothers Day to arrive before we went out to fly it. We are both as happy as can be with this kite, its wonderful colors, and the way it flies in the lightest of winds (we just got back from flying it this afternoon in 7 MPH or less winds). Our only question is.... ''Do they make the 'Circles & Spears' in an 11 foot or larger size???''

Keep it in the sweet spot

This is a really cool kite I bought a smaller version of this model and flew it 3000 ft. Its better to just fly it at 500 ft or 1000 ft because if it goes any higher it doesn't stay head on.

Better than a Cheap-o kite!

My first ''real kite'' If you have only flown a Wal-Mart kite, this one will give you the ''bug''! Start with as much line as you can. I went for 1000' and used all of it quickly. Into the Wind will be receiving more of my disposable income in the future.

Amazing Flight Character

This was my first large delta and I'm impressed by its very pleasant flight characteristics. Its is a very smooth and graceful flyer and, in my opinion, the perfect first kite for the novice pilot. It'll launch in the slightest breeze yet won't pull like a tractor in strong wind. The kite is qiuck, easy, and painless to assemble and disassemble (be aware that you will need a good kite bag). It also has plenty of lift for tails and the like. This particular kite in the technacolor color scheme is the only masculine color themed delta (no pink or purple!!!) I could find on the internet (maybe I should start making my own kites...). I like to anchor it with a kite steak and fly my two line stunt kite directly underneath. A beautiful sight. My only major complaint is that after repeated nose dives the central rod burst through its rear seam and required stitching to repair. I suspect others will encounter a similar prospect. It's easily fixable however and preventable by double or triple stitching the back seam that hold the central rod. Overall, a well made kite especially considering the price. A mesmerizing soarer, its the kite I always end up flying in low winds. A kite like this has a place in every in every kite bag. Go ahead and pick one up - you won't be let down! Windy skies!
