Brasington Butterfly Kite

Just arrived tonight and what a beautifully made kite! When you hold it up to the light it looks like a stained glass window! Thank you Into the Wind and Mr Brasington for your amazing work on this wonder!

Deceivingly simple in design, hardy against a wide wind range due to its easily adjustable bridle, and highly stunning against either a clear blue sky or against grey cloud cover. Following some of Robert's advisements, I managed to figure out a way to create a stacked kite train w/ (5) of these Brasington Butterflies in an awesome flight formation. Robert designed this kite w/ fiberglass wing battens that support the leading edge wing spreaders and the spine's dihedral, all which bow the kite perfectly when assembled and precludes any need for a tensioned bow line behind the wings. Neat, simple, clean, super effective. Thank you, Robert!

Great colors, easy to assemble/disassemble in the field. Flies in the lightest of winds, yet can handle higher wind speeds as well.
