Easy to assemble and fly, David Clarke's Crystal has always had an elegant, understated quality. $119 in our 1991 Into The Wind catalog, it's now $69 with six colors in the center instead of three. Surrounded by black, its bright center plays hide and seek with the flier.

A great travel kite, it comes in a compact 33" case. Made of ripstop nylon with fiberglass spars. Measures 4'-4" x 4'-1". Flies in 10-18 mph winds. Use 90 to 100-lb Dacron line.
