Our braided Dacron line is made for kiteflying!

Braided line handles better and lasts longer than twisted line. Especially made for kite flying, Ashaway's braided Dacron Kite Line has an unusually tight, fine braid for the least possible tangling and kinking. The longer you use it, the more you'll appreciate its smooth and trouble-free handling. It's the best line there is.

Before using your line, be sure to transfer it to a flying reel. Flying reels sold separately. Photo shows multiple weights and lengths of line but line is sold individually.

Exactly what I needed. I have been ordering from Into The Wind since the late 80's. I have never been disappointed.

This Ashcroft braided dacron 300# line is perfect for my big kites.

ITW is right. Ashaway's braided Dacron line is about as good as I've found for single line kites and this 300# line is perfect on a windbreaker reel or a ratcheting reel for my biggest kites at the beach.

Best line out there

Even if I never bought another kite from ITW, I would still come back for the ashway kite line. Comfortable on the hands to fly with. I just wish they had heavier line for my bigger kites.

Superior Product

You might think that line is line, and 300lb line is always the same. But this product is definitely superior. It handles so well that it makes flying easier and more pleasurable. It's certainly worth buying the best in order to enjoy your flying more and have greater peace of mind. I've never had one of these lines break, even in extreme conditions.

Great Line!!

My kite required lighter line but I went heavier with this. This is great line!! Light and strong! Will not weigh your kite down (I had 1000 ft out) and even snagged a tree with no problems. Go with braided dacron. This is the best!!

The Best

Into the Wind's kite line is the finest I have seen. It has a real fine braid and feels like sort of a ''coarse satin'' feel in your hands. It's very smooth but not too slippery. I would never waste my time flying anything but this!! I actually bought this line 7 years ago and today I was looking at it and realized how well this line has served me. It's so good I've taken it for granted but now I recall just how much nicer this line is than your typical ''string.''
