George Peters Lizard Sandimal Kite Anchor

These are perfect for the beach. I have the square sand anchors, but these add to the display, everybody stops to see what they are. Easy to fill with sand, and leave out all day and dump the sand at the end of the day. They have great staying power, I build a little berm in front of them or set them in the small divot I just dug to fill them and they hold well. I do not know the weight when I fill them, depends on how dry or damp the sand is, but I know I can not lift them when they are full of sand. I tug them around the beach when full and lift the tails to empty them out at the end of the day. I own 6, 3 red and 3 black, I use 3-4 when flying my 58' whale off a flow form 125 lifter in light to moderate winds. I did change out the string used to close the mouth of the Sandimal with a length of Climax 1100 lb kite line, because using carabiners and lifting straps is how I connect them together, and I do not know what the strength of string they used.
