Mayan Double DC Kite

One truly magnificent kite. Flies every bit as good as it looks and that's saying a lot! I fly it with 6 sets of 15 foot rainbow tails. They complement it perfectly. When the sun hits it, it is truly spectacular. It literally stops traffic. I have had more people tell me that the Mayan is THE most beautiful kite they have ever seen than any other kite (44 now) that I own.

A very large kite, yet one of the simplest to assemble. Some kites seem to want to fly, and this is one of those. Exquisitely designed, and well-made, and a delight to fly.

This kite is one of my favorites in my growing collection. Any time this beautiful kite is in the air it commands attention. This kite can handle any amount of tails and line laundry that you attach to it. It flies well in calm wind as well as high wind, but BEWARE, this kite pulls like a Mack Truck in the mid to upper wind range.

This is a high aspect kite that will float all by itself all day long. Lifts a ton of line laundry and looks great in the air. As always, it is constructed of rip stop Dacron so it is more or less well suited for an accidental tree landing.

Just got this kite last week. First flew it today in gusty 5-15 mph winds in the field behind home. IT was easy to assemble, as are most DC kite, easy to launch, and absolutely gorgeous up in the air. Very stable flyer, and good lift without being too much of a struggle. Love at first flight!
