Jeanne and Ray Merry
Jeanne and Ray Merry have a long history in designing and building kites. Originally from London, Ray is well known for his early design of the Flexifoil and work with kites in the UK. Jeanne, a native of New Jersey, began designing kites and wind socks for local retail beach shops. After an introduction at a kite event in the US, the rest is a history spanning 40 years. Together, through their business Cobra Kites, they have experience with wholesale, retail, design and production. Production models they have designed include RC Wings, single line, sport kites, power kites, quads and line laundry among the vast range of work. They have designed kites for film studios, art installations, museums, advertising, government projects, individual flyers and for other businesses.
They remain active in kiting for recreation as well as on business which takes them around the globe. They currently reside and work in New Jersey, and can be frequently found attending kite flys and festivals.
