This sand anchor is (almost) made for eternity. You can shovel a lot of sand onto one square meter (that's a 3' x 3' square) of truck tarpaulin, and that will keep hold of a lot of kite! Strong straps reinforce the edges and the tarpaulin itself. A well-dimensioned double-sided carabiner guides the straps to the point.
