Clearly, Taz is a true Tasmanian from the South Australian island in the Indian Ocean, where kite designer Robert Brasington is at home.
With a wingspan of 7'9", this already quite large delta not only looks beautiful, it also flies in a wide wind range. For stability, its extra-large keel helps. For the included tails, there are loops at the end of the spine and at the wingtips.
The appliqué sail is made of lightweight nylon, the frame of carbon fiber. This allows the kite to fly in very little wind, but does not fear a slightly stronger breeze. When all other kites stay on the ground, i.e. in very light, unsteady or thermal winds, the Taz-Delta - now without tails - can be flown actively.
Includes three 16ft tails. Size is 7'9" x 4'0". Does not come with line, 100lb Dacron recommended. Wind range is 4-15mph.
